BIT-CCTV
Deploy heavy-duty load capacities ranging from 3.5kg up to 120kg. Designed for rugged applications including border patrol, security infrastructure, coastal defense, and optical tracking.
The global security, surveillance, and optical communication sectors demand extreme accuracy under varying environmental stresses. At the heart of these hardware configurations lies the Pan Tilt Positioner (PTU). Historically developed for basic close-circuit television operations, modern PTUs serve as highly advanced positioning stations. They process raw sensor data and control dynamic, high-precision payloads, including long-range laser cameras, thermal imagers, and acoustic warning devices.
Several critical market forces drive the modern growth of the PTU market. Modern security requirements demand longer range and multi-sensor systems. Operators no longer rely on single-spectrum monitoring; they combine visible cameras with SWIR, MWIR, LWIR thermal sensors, and radar trackers on a single dynamic mount. As system weights escalate from standard security lenses to double-ended payload packages, selecting the correct load capacity and drive system remains critical for long-term deployment.
For applications such as border detection and vessel monitoring, tiny mechanical vibrations can blur imagery at high zoom levels. Industrial positioners require precise angular step resolutions down to 0.01° to guarantee clean video feeds and dependable targets tracking.
Heavy duty units must survive extreme temperature changes. Our PTU housings feature internal heaters, defrosters, and sunshield protections, ensuring stable operation from -40°C up to +65°C under high winds.
Support for legacy Pelco-D and Pelco-P telemetry is paired with modern IP communication and ONVIF profiles. Advanced systems accept absolute positioning queries, returning live pan/tilt angles to mapping software.
Establishing trust through verifiable industrial achievements, intellectual property, and international distribution.

The BIT-PT510 is a compact, high-precision pan tilt unit with a top load capacity of 10kg (22lb). It features a precision stepper motor paired with a worm gear drive system. This mechanical layout supports 360° continuous pan rotation and ±60° tilt rotation, with maximum panning speeds up to 30°/second.
Worm gear technology provides mechanical self-locking, preventing payload drift when power is cut. The BIT-PT510 is ideal for medium-sized camera enclosures, spotlight mounts, and directional speakers deployed in critical settings like coastal watchtowers, forest fire lookouts, and industrial perimeters.
The smallest pan tilt unit in our inventory. Weighing only 3.5kg, it handles payloads up to 3.5kg (7.7lb). Engineered for weight-restricted setups such as temporary tactical tripod rigs, rapid-response vehicles, and mobile telescopic masts.
Designed for tracking fast-moving targets. Reaching pan speeds up to 100°/second, it allows rapid lens positioning. Integrated worm gear tilt drives support payloads up to 10kg (22lb) across a wide range of tilt motion (-90° to +40°).
A proven field-tested system in our catalog for over a decade. Built to handle heavy multi-sensor packages up to 50kg (110lb), this unit features a rugged IP66 housing that stands up to severe winds, saltwater corrosion, and desert environments.
Our positioning solutions are deployed worldwide in over 50 countries, across commercial perimeters, national borders, and marine vessels.
Providing automated thermal scanning sweeps of oil refineries, electrical substations, nuclear facilities, and airport perimeters to detect breaches and hotspots.
Carrying dual visible and thermal imaging systems to detect pedestrian movements at several kilometers, or vessels in sea spray and heavy fog.
Built with corrosion-resistant finishes to survive salt spray and high moisture on commercial ships, cruise vessels, and coast guard patrol boats.
Mounted on high tower masts, utilizing thermal imagery and smoke analytics to scan mountain ranges and detect early forest fires.
Since 2007, BIT-CCTV has built partnerships across five continents. We work with engineering integrators and distributors to deliver stable, high-performance equipment to municipal and commercial clients.

Our commitment to R&D is backed by 50 national patents. Annual investments of 10% of our sales revenue support our engineering teams in developing advanced positioning controls.
