BIT-CCTV
Engineered to deliver exceptional mechanical stability and protection for modern sensor assemblies across challenging multi-environment settings.
Innovation, Intelligence, Excellence, and Integrity Built into Every Single Precision Enclosure & Pan Tilt System.
In the modern international security landscape, the demand for dual-axis positioning and protective sensor enclosures has expanded beyond conventional CCTV applications. Modern system integrators, military contractors, and national grid operators are looking for robust, multi-spectral sensor protection capable of housing distinct visual cameras and infrared thermal imaging cores within a single housing.
This shifting landscape drives our core engineering pipeline at Blue Icon. Over 18 years, our development process has moved from simple protective housings to complex multi-port intelligent enclosures. Each design prioritizes optical alignment accuracy, minimized thermal expansion, and mechanical vibration suppression.
BIT-CCTV is the leading international manufacturer and provider of pan tilt positioning products/technology with over 20 years’ experience of design and engineering.
Blue Icon (Tianjin) Technology Co. Ltd.
Established in 2005, Blue Icon (Tianjin) Technology Co. Ltd, a national high-tech company, specializes in design, engineering, manufacturing and sales of high-quality CCTV surveillance equipment including pan-tilt head/positioner, long range laser PTZ camera, IR thermal imaging PTZ camera, dual-vision PTZ camera, camera housing enclosures, camera mounting brackets and accessories.
Deploying advanced mechanical structures to protect high-value optical assets in harsh security environments.
Borderlines and coastal perimeters are subject to wind forces, airborne salt crusting, and extreme temperature swings. A dual cabin design allows for the independent separation of long-range daytime optical zooms (using high-transparency optical glass) and thermal infrared cores (utilizing specialized Germanium window elements).
This layout ensures thermal cross-talk is kept to a minimum, and keeps internal moisture under control through IP67 sealed chambers filled with dry nitrogen.
Early fire detection relies on high-resolution continuous thermal scanning alongside optical validation. By using dual-window camera housings mounted on heavy-duty worm-gear positioning systems, sensors can operate continuously in high-temperature, smoke-laden conditions.
Specialized window coatings shield interior sensors from intense heat radiation, preserving high MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) metrics for long-term deployments.
Nuclear facilities, electrical grids, and petrochemical hubs require 24/7 dual-sensor monitoring. Advanced anti-corrosive treatments, like our C5-M marine-grade paint coatings, protect housings from chemical exposures and atmospheric degradation, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments.
Since its foundation in 2007, BIT-CCTV has been committed to designing, engineering and manufacturing high quality and customized pan tilt positioning products and serving customers throughout China and from over 50 countries around the world.
Our sales infrastructure reaches across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. This global coverage allows us to provide technical field application engineering, custom structural redesigns, and rapid prototype turnarounds for international system integrators.

The BIT-PT510 is a compact pan tilt unit with a top load capacity of 10kg/22lb, powered by a high-precision stepper motor and worm/gear drive. The unit features 360° pan rotation and ±60° tilt rotation with speeds up to 30°/S. It is designed to support camera housings, spotlights, and loudspeakers in video surveillance, border and coastal defense, and forest fire prevention systems.
Our smallest pan tilt unit, weighing only 3.5kg. It supports payloads up to 3.5kg/7.7lb, making it ideal for deployments where size and weight are critical constraints.
Capable of rotation speeds up to 100°/second, this unit enables rapid positioning and tracking. It combines high-speed operation with a worm-gear tilt drive for a 10kg payload and an angular range of -90° to +40°.
A popular choice for industrial deployments over the last decade, this heavy-duty unit is designed to handle demanding outdoor conditions with low maintenance requirements.
Our long-term R&D vision for multi-spectral protective housings focuses on addressing emerging intelligence and environmental challenges.
We are integrating micro-controller networks inside our dual cabins to collect data on temperature, humidity, pressure, and window transmissive degradation. These sensors dynamically adjust internal heating arrays, air circulation fans, and automated glass cleaners to maintain ideal imaging conditions while reducing overall power usage.
Future development phases involve deploying lighter, high-performance alloys and carbon fiber structures alongside marine-grade stainless steels. This helps lower overall system weight, reduce mechanical inertia on pan-tilt heads, and improve resistance to corrosive chemicals and seaside air.
As long-range thermal cores and ultra-telephoto optical systems continue to shrink, alignment tolerances become more critical. We are introducing sub-millimeter factory alignment procedures and adjustable internal mounting plates to simplify calibration and ensure the optical axes of both sensors remain parallel across long distances.
Backed by over 50 national patents and an annual 10% R&D investment, our operations maintain strict quality control standards.
