BIT-CCTV
In the domain of critical infrastructure protection, maritime defense, border surveillance, and extreme environment security, the demand for high-reliability target tracking has driven the engineering behind modern positioning equipment. At Blue Icon (Tianjin) Technology Co. Ltd (established in 2005), we lead the market as China's premier manufacturer and designer of multi-spectral positioning platforms and custom heavy-duty camera systems. Operating under our internationally recognized brand BIT-CCTV since 2007, we deliver advanced precision positioning technologies tailored to the most hostile environmental conditions on Earth.
Our comprehensive research focuses heavily on mitigating backlashes, thermal drift, structural resonance, and mechanical failure. By implementing worm-gear drives, direct drive systems, and heavy-duty structural alloys, our systems maintain structural integrity under extreme load margins (ranging from 3kg up to 200kg payloads). Serving critical deployments in over 50 countries, we maintain an unwavering commitment to engineering innovation, investing more than 10% of our annual revenue directly back into our R&D divisions.
A legacy of technical excellence, IP rights acquisition, and global scale operations makes BIT-CCTV the preferred technical OEM/ODM partner for thermal camera manufacturers and defense contractors globally.

The global security environment demands multi-sensor fusion. Visual spectrum cameras, while providing rich color information under optimal daylight, fail completely in smoke, fog, and total darkness. Thermal cameras bypass these limitations by measuring long-wave infrared radiation (LWIR). However, a high-performance thermal imaging sensor is only as effective as the positioning system upon which it is mounted. Stabilization, accuracy, and structural durability represent the difference between successful target acquisition and total mission failure.
Salt spray, high humidity, and violent physical motion require robust materials. Our pan-tilt positioners leverage SUS316 stainless steel mount brackets, dynamic seal profiles, and specialized coatings to withstand marine atmospheric conditions. Configured with dual-window camera housings (such as the BIT-HS4218), they host both daylight cameras and thermal sensors, enabling continuous coastal surveillance over tens of kilometers.
Long-range detection models rely on continuous 360° rotational sweeping to scan thousands of hectares. Our continuous-rotation pan rotators, equipped with high-precision stepping motors and worm gear drive mechanisms, are optimized for slow, continuous duty cycles without overheating. Integration with intelligent thermal imaging allows early detection of micro-ignition sources at extreme distances.
Power grids, pipelines, chemical plants, and military bases demand zero blind spots. Heavy payload pan-tilts (supporting up to 120kg or 200kg structures) allow the mounting of heavy dual-spectral sensors alongside long-range laser illuminators and acoustic warning speakers. Advanced preset controls allow automated scanning routes, triggering alarms when abnormalities are detected.
Our engineering and manufacturing portfolio spans five main categories, offering custom mechanical layouts to fulfill bespoke integration requests.
By studying thermal expansion coefficients, wind resistance profiles, and mechanical wear, BIT-CCTV has engineered a specialized range of high-efficiency PTZ models designed for long-term field stability.
Featuring a high-precision stepper motor paired with a worm gear drive system, the BIT-PT510 is optimized for small to medium optical and thermal payloads. Offering 360° pan rotation and ±60° tilt limits with speed profiles up to 30°/second. Highly suitable for camera housings, forest fire warning systems, and localized surveillance brackets.
Our most compact positioner unit. Weighing only 3.5kg, this miniature positioner supports up to 3.5kg/7.7lb payloads. Ideal for mobile vehicle mounts, portable field defense systems, and applications with space restrictions. Despite its small profile, it utilizes a heavy-duty worm-gear mechanism for structural stability.
When tracking high-speed targets is required, the BIT-PT410 delivers angular velocities up to 100°/second. Designed with a dual-system gear train, it maintains high speed without sacrificing positioning accuracy. Features a wide tilting range of -90° to +40°, making it suitable for low-altitude drone detection and defense.
A flagship standard model in our heavy-duty product lineup for over a decade. Supporting payloads up to 50kg, the BIT-PT850 features a rugged die-cast aluminum housing, sealed IP66 configuration, and high-performance motors. Designed for demanding applications such as border security and long-range harbor defense, its reliability has made it a preferred choice across global integration projects.
Deploying surveillance platforms globally requires adhering to strict international certifications. Security infrastructure projects, border control zones, and industrial facilities mandate compliance with safety, environmental, and interoperability standards. BIT-CCTV products undergo testing protocols to verify reliability and longevity in the field.

We work with international logistics networks to deliver localized integration support. Whether deploying in extreme conditions like Siberian cold or Middle Eastern deserts, our custom-designed rotomolding protection boxes and heating/cooling camera enclosures ensure consistent thermal regulation, preserving the functional lifespan of the internal sensors.
Our manufacturing facility in Tianjin spans a 10,000m² production footprint, incorporating precision machining centers, environmental test labs, and automated QC checkstations to maintain consistent build quality.

With over 50 national patents, our technical designs are backed by structured intellectual property frameworks. We maintain ISO9001 quality management procedures from engineering prototype to bulk component assembly.

Since our inception, our focus on customized, reliable engineering has helped expand our footprint to over 50 countries, collaborating with system integrators to secure international borders, civil aviation terminals, and critical energy generation plants.

As sensor technology advances, positioners must evolve in step. Our R&D efforts are aligned with three key technological trends:
By embedding intelligence directly within the PTZ control board, our next-generation systems can dynamically adjust tracking speeds and scan intervals based on radar cues or thermal signature profiles, reducing reliance on manual operator control.
Integrating thermal LWIR sensors with visible day-cameras can introduce parallax errors. We are refining micro-alignment mechanisms inside our dual-window camera housings (such as the BIT-HS4215) to maintain optical alignment across the entire zoom range.
Worm-gear assemblies provide excellent torque and holding capabilities. However, for rapid scanning and tracking, direct-drive motor technology offers zero backlash and fast response times. We are expanding our direct-drive range to accommodate heavier payloads up to 100kg.
